Welcome to Bear Creek Farm Boer Goats, we are pleased you stopped by. We are located in Lebanon, MO, and offer Fullblood Boer Goats for sale in Missouri. We are within a few hours drive from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois.

Major attractions are located nearby, including, The Beautiful Lake of the Ozarks just 25 miles North on Hwy 5, Bennett Springs State Park, a gorgeous trout stream 12 miles North on Hwy 64 and of course Branson and Table Rock Lake are just 100 miles away, down I-44 to Springfield and then South on Hwy 65. So if you get a chance to come and visit, plan an extra couple of days for a mini vacation.

We have been involved with Goats for a very long time. Our first goat on the farm was purchased for her milk, way back in 1974, due to our son being allergic to cow's milk. Then in the early 90's, we purchased Brush, Spanish, Pygmy and Milk Goats to clear our 120 acres. In 1997, we obtained a percentage Boer Buck, and he definitely improved our herd of goats. In 2000 we traveled to Texas Labor Day Production Sales to include Norman Kohl's, Powell/Holman and Sunny Acres to buy the best South African Boer Goat breeding stock we could afford and thus began building our Fullblood Boer Goat Herd. We have continued to attend production sales and purchase Boer Goats from EGGS at Showstopper, Farmer's Stock Exchange, Silver Boer Goat Exchange, Paul Payne, Don Smith, 7A++ and more.

Boer Goats

One of the most important additions to our herd was our 2003 - 2007 herd sire DSM Richard*Ennobled*, an Ennobled Starman and Wobbles son, whom we purchased from Don Smith. Richard has given us some awesome kids, one of his Boer goat Does placed 6th out of 94 and another placed 12th at the ABGA National Show in Louisville , KY in 2005. One of his bucks, Bear Creek BC T122 Mika, placed 6 th out of 117 in the 3 to 6 month old buck class at the 2006 ABGA Nationals held in Monroe , LA 12 - 17 June 2006.   Richard's bucks continued to do well in the show ring, in 2007 BC V205 Yogi had 40 Points and BC W213 Joshua now has 99 and 10 unassigned points towards ennoblement.  We have continued to add beautiful herd sires to our breeding program, check out our herd sire page.

We have a 100% Fullblood Boer Goat Herd, have put together the best genetics we could buy. Quality is our priority. We were participating in the BGIN Boer Goat Improvement Network program with ABGA American Boer Goat Association when it was active and are serious about developing a Boer Goat with exceptional rate of gain for the Commercial Meat Goat Producer. Bear Creek BC D826 Gator's Scarlett

Scarlett was a twin, she has had 14 kids.  She had 2 Doe kids in Dec 2022, 1241 was sold for $1500.00.  I am keeping 1240.  Scarlett placed 9th at the 2015 ABGA National Show.  Her teat seems to have scar tissue, i.e. somtime a kid chewed.  BUT, she fed both does with no problem.  She has been exposed to Bear Creek BC L1201 Argos Karma Reg # 10906350 from 10 July thru 27 August 2023.

Ms Merkle was a twin, she has had 7 kids, tripletts on 6 March 2023.  Doe 1266; Bucks 1267 and 1268.  1268 just sold for $1500.00; 1267 placed 3rd out of 9 at the Missouri State Fair.  You can see her Buck Bear Creek BC M1228 Apache that sold for $2500.00 on the Bucks For Sale Page.  She weighed 187 lbs. on 5 June 2023.  She has been exposed to Bear Creek BC M1220 Dream Chaser since 10 July 2023.

996 was a twin, she has had 10 kids.  She had twins Buck 1244 and Doe 1245 on 14 December 2022.  The Buck 1244 sold for $2000.00 and 1245 is in my keeper herd.  She has been exposed to Bear Creek BC L1993 Main Man Reg # 10906349 from 10 July to 27 August 2023.

This is 1166's Buckling BC N1306 born 26 Dec 23. His sister is 1305.

Bear Creek BC K1166 Amazin Grace was a triplett.  Wow, I had forgot this, she weighed 4 lbs. and her brothers were 8 and 9 lbs.  She weighed 180 lbs. on 5 June 2023.  She has been on pasture since early June 23, so I am sure she has lost weight. She was bred to 203CB Whiskey Tango and delivered a Buck and Doe on 12 March 2022.  We sold her Buck 1215 for $1500.00 and kept her Doe 1216.  This year she had a single Buck kid 1269, she had udder problems, thus we bottle fed 1269 but, she was a good mom to him, talked to him; snuggled him etc.  She is a very sweet Doe.  Do NOT consider her if you would have a problem dealing with bottle kids.  She has been exposed to Bear Creek BC M1220 Dream Chaser since 10 July 2023.  Dream Chaser is a son of 203CB Whiskey Tango, thus excited to see what they produce.

Bear Creek BC L1193 Main Man, Reg # 10906349 was one of our main herdsires for the 2022/2023 kidding season.  He has a good bite and 1 teat on each side.  He did not get as many Does as the other guys as we have too much Harambe in our herd, thus, sadly we need to move on and find a new guy!!  But, if you need to put some width in your herd, Bear Creek BC E894 Harambe, Main Mans Sire, made them wide and so does Main Man.  We are keeping a couple of his daughters 1250 and 1252 with the dark chestnut heads and repeated the breeding this year hoping for more of the same.  He has been with Does from 10 July 2023 thru 27 August 2023.  But, is now in the bachelor pad with Argos Karma and hoping to find some pretty does.

Bear Creek BC N1222 was a triplett.  She has a good bite and a udder that will keep her out of the ABGA show ring, but, should NOT keep her from feeding her kids.  She was exposed to Seabiscuit on 16 July 2023, but, did NOT kid.

1225 was a twin, she has a good bite and 1 clean teat on each side.  She was bred on 16 July 2023 by Argos Karma, but, aborted 2 kids on 2 November 2023.  I do NOT know the cause, but, she would have been a good mom as she was staying with those kids.

Bear Creek BC N1265 was a triplet.  She has a good bite.  Teats are a fork on the left plus 1 tiny one wide separated; then one teat on the right with a tiny one wide separated.  She weighed 75 lbs. on 19 July 2023 for a .48 average daily gain.  She has a sweet disposition and led like a show doe, first time on the lead.

1284 has a good bite and 2 teats on each side.  He weighed 48 lbs. on 14 February 2024 giving him a .62 average daily gain.  His Dam 1029 Ms Merkle, produces great Bucks including Apache and Lucas that were sired by Seabiscuit.  Ms Merkle can be seen on the Does For Sale Page.  1284 has a different sire, Dream Chaser, AND, is already looking GREAT!!  His picture is just a sneak peek taken at a FFA Judging contest.  Hopefully better and more pictures coming soon!!

1292 was a single, she has a good bite and a fork teat I believe is 50% split plus a teeny one on each side.  Just a sneak peek picture, more to come SOON.  I do NOT believe you need 200 plus lb does to raise kids, BUT, if you like them I believe 1292 has a good chance of being a big frame doe.  Her Grandam Cheetah was one of our show does and weighed over 200 lbs. and  1292's Dam 1116 weighed 221 lbs. on 31 January 2024.  1292 was one of 4 Does that we took to Richland, MO on 1 March 2024 for the FFA Judging Team and from my understanding 1292 was #1 and 1277 was #2.

1293 and 1294 were twins, they both have good bites.  1293 has one teat on each side and maybe a speck on the right.  Their Dam had 1 teat on each side.  It is hard to tell when they are small, but, I did NOT see any split testicles.
