2025/2026 Kidding began 11 December 2025. We will be offering kids for sale sired by Bear Creek BC R1369 Hello Darlin; Bear Creek BC P1352 Chewbacca; AND 2RSG P33 Sandman. IF you are looking for a new Herdsire, Breeding Doe, or a Kid to show, we welcome you to schedule a Farm Visit to check out our Genetics. We strive to offer Bucks that will add fast weight gain to your herd so that you can get your kids to market at weaning, 60 - 80 lbs. at 3 months old.
We have been a closed herd since 2008 with the exception of bringing in new herdsires in 2009; 2010; 2011; 2015, 2017, 2020, 2024 and 2025. We prefer the Traditional South African Boer Goat with the white body and Red Head

Welcome to Bear Creek Farm Boer Goats, we are pleased you stopped by. We are located in Lebanon, MO, and offer Fullblood Boer Goats for sale in Missouri. We are within a few hours drive from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois.

Major attractions are located nearby, including, The Beautiful Lake of the Ozarks just 25 miles North on Hwy 5, Bennett Springs State Park, a gorgeous trout stream 12 miles North on Hwy 64 and of course Branson and Table Rock Lake are just 100 miles away, down I-44 to Springfield and then South on Hwy 65. So if you get a chance to come and visit, plan an extra couple of days for a mini vacation.
We have been involved with Goats for a very long time. Our first goat on the farm was purchased for her milk, way back in 1974, due to our son being allergic to cow's milk. Then in the early 90's, we purchased Brush, Spanish, Pygmy and Milk Goats to clear our 120 acres. In 1997, we obtained a percentage Boer Buck, and he definitely improved our herd of goats. In 2000 we traveled to Texas Labor Day Production Sales to include Norman Kohl's, Powell/Holman and Sunny Acres to buy the best South African Boer Goat breeding stock we could afford and thus began building our Fullblood Boer Goat Herd. We have continued to attend production sales and purchase Boer Goats from EGGS at Showstopper, Farmer's Stock Exchange, Silver Boer Goat Exchange, Paul Payne, Don Smith, 7A++ and more.

One of the most important additions to our herd was our 2003 - 2007 herd sire DSM Richard*Ennobled*, an Ennobled Starman and Wobbles son, whom we purchased from Don Smith. Richard has given us some awesome kids, one of his Boer goat Does placed 6th out of 94 and another placed 12th at the ABGA National Show in Louisville , KY in 2005. One of his bucks, Bear Creek BC T122 Mika, placed 6 th out of 117 in the 3 to 6 month old buck class at the 2006 ABGA Nationals held in Monroe , LA 12 - 17 June 2006. Richard's bucks continued to do well in the show ring, in 2007 BC V205 Yogi had 40 Points and BC W213 Joshua now has 99 and 10 unassigned points towards ennoblement. We have continued to add beautiful herd sires to our breeding program, check out our herd sire page.
We have a 100% Fullblood Boer Goat Herd, have put together the best genetics we could buy. Quality is our priority. We were participating in the BGIN Boer Goat Improvement Network program with ABGA American Boer Goat Association when it was active and are serious about developing a Boer Goat with exceptional rate of gain for the Commercial Meat Goat Producer. Goat 101 Financials: Hey, just going to share some thoughts for you to consider: You could purchase a CD for $5000.00 and hope you get 6% interest. That should give you at least $300.00 for the year. OR If you purchased 4 Does for $5000.00. Kid them out, you should get 8 kids. Lots of scenarios, BUT, we will be cheap and just figure you get 4 kids and sell them cheap for near sale barn prices of $500.00 each. Thus $2000.00. Livestock is gambling, but, odds are usually in your favor.

Hey, if you like them big, you need to check out Cheetah's Pride she weighed 200 lbs. on 24 January 2025. That was after she kidded on 19 December 2024 with a Buck and Doe. She produces good kids, her 2 Bucks 1197 and 1198 sold for $2500.00 EACH in 2022. Her Dam 590 Cheetah was one of our Show Does and was also a big framed doe. UPDATE: Cheetah's Pride weighed 193 lbs. on 5 Jan 2026.
9 July 2025 UPDATE: Just INFO her kids this year 1346 a Buck was sold to a family in Texas for $2500.00 and 1347 a Doe now in our keeper pen were the kids chosen as 1st place by the FFA judging team practice at Richland, MO and Rolla, MO this year.
12 March 2026 UPDATE: Cheetah's Pride produced more great kids on 16 Dec 2025 Buck 1389 had a .66 average daily gain on 20 Feb 26 and her Doe 1390 had a .55 ADG. So, you have to ask WHY do we offer one of our best producing does!! We simply need to seriously cut our herd DOWN and we have a couple more that we will also be offering. She delivered triplets 11 Dec 2023; A single Buck on 19 April 2025, but, a very good one, Bear Creek BC R1369 Hello Darlin that was the Reserve Overall Grand Champion Buck in Sedalia, MO on 11 April 2026. THEN, she delivered another Buck on 13 April 2026, we were not there and do not know if he was dead on arrival OR died. He looked like he would have been another good one, I have pictures if you want to see. BUT, she just turned 4 and should have alot of years left for you to get a great one from her. I have been milking her and supplementing some bottle babies with the milk.

His kids started arriving 27 Feb 2026 and all but one kidded by 22 March 2026. Darlin IS NOT FOR SALE at this time, BUT, some of his kids will be available around the middle of June 2026. He has a good bite; 2 teats each side, no split. He weighed 192 lbs. on 18 Feb 2026 giving him a .59 average daily gain, so, he has recovered from the breeding pen. I have to BRAG on him, he is so very kind, we put him with the weaned bucklings that were born in Dec 2025 and he has been nothing but a gentleman. But, of course he is NOT yet a year old, thus kinda a big kid himself. |

His Dam was the Overall Grand Champion Doe at the 2022 Ozark Empire Fair in Springfield, MO when she was 8 months old. He has a great pedigree that goes back to MCR Menger Creek Ranch in TX; DBL-D in NE; and Bear Creek BC E894 Harambe (Grandsire on the Dams' side) is probably where he got his width.
UPDATE 10 July 2026: 1396 weighed 83 lbs. giving him a .55 average daily gain. |

He was priced $1500.00 BUT, after noticing his left front knee is swollen we have discounted him to $1250.00. I think he will be fine, it is soft and usually happens when they are in a growth spurt.
I will share a very OLD story, happened on 1 August 2009. Terry Blair and Don Smith had a production sale and normally there are i.e. maybe 5 - 10 Bucks in a sale, but, not this one. It had ALOT of Bucks, over half the sale, and they all sold very well. We attended hoping to get a Buck sired by TLB T133 Ripper *Ennobled* and our last chance was TLB 9004. We had not even inspected him due to he HAD a swollen knee, well long story short we brought TLB 9004 home and all ended well.
