1355 has a good bite, 1 teat on each side with a speck on each side a mile away.  You are not supposed to get too excited when a kid is born that you really, really like.  This was the one, I seen him as one of our herdsires and showbucks.  Then, he had a setback that has slowed him down for awhile AND now he has a umbilical hernia.  But, I still love him and it is ok for him to hang around.  IF you like him and want to take a chance on him he is ready.  He weighed 98 lbs. on 19 July giving him a .46 average daily gain.  


My experience with umbilical hernias was 23 plus years ago.  We had a Doe with one, a guy in OK wanted to purchase her and wanted the hernia fixed.  Vet did NOT recommend it, said it was small and would be OK.  But, we had him attempt to fix it.  When he gave her the wake up shot, she passed.  From my understanding back then Vets were not educated in giving anesthesia to Goats.  

20 August 2025 UPDATE:  1355 weighed 117 lbs. giving him a .48 average daily gain.

UPDATE 30 August 2025:  1355 has been SOLD, heading to Kansas.

1368 was a single, he has a good bite and 2 clean teats widely separated on each side.  No split in testicle.  He weighed 73 lbs. on 19 July 2025 giving him a .64 average daily gain.


UPDATE 20 August 2025:  1368 weighed 95 lbs. today, giving him a .65 average daily gain.

UPDATE 13 September 2025:  1368 has been SOLD, heading to Arkansas.

1371 was a twin, her bite flares, she has 1 big and 1 tiny teat widely separated on each side, all are clean.

Introducing our newest herdsire KMSL ROR1 Smoke Show!!  We put him with our Does on 5 Aug 2024 and his kids started arriving 6 January 2025.  Actually his first born Bear Creek BC R1355 is very high on the list to be our new guy.  


He has a good bite and 1 and 1 teats.

He placed 2nd out of 13 at the National Western Stock Show 1/13/24.

Stay tuned IF you like Smoke's looks as we will for sure offer him for sale in August 2025 BUT, if you need him earlier we can discuss.

UPDATE 6 JUNE 2025:  Smoke was SOLD today.  Heading to MN.
